Tale(s) of the Five Collection for Hugo Nominators
To be eligible for nomination for a Hugo award for Best Series in a given year, a series must comprise at least three works totalling at least 240,000 words, and one work in the series must have been released during the previous year.
The first three works in the Tale of the Five series total approximately 330,000 words. The first 20,000-word bridging novella, Tales of the Five: The Levin-Gad, was published in August 2018. The 75,000-word novel Tales of the Five: The Landlady was published in May 2019. Three more works in this bridging sequence -- Tales of the Five: The Librarian, and the two others (as yet untitled) -- will be published during 2020/2021.
All works appearing on this page are available at Ebooks Direct at a 75% discount for those interested in reading them in consideration of Hugo nomination. (A note for interested parties: the texts of the series works available here are identical to those available at Amazon.com, though those ebooks/paperbacks are not discounted.)
As with all our ebooks, these are DRM-free and can be moved among your e-reading devices at your pleasure; and if you lose them or change platforms, we'll replace them for free. Just contact us at the store's support address with your order number.
To avail of the discount, please use the code HUGONOM at checkout. Please note that this discount code is limited to one use per customer, so if you wish to use it on more than one item in the Tales of the Five collection, all the purchases you're interested in must be in the cart for that transaction. The discount code will be valid until Hugo nominations close on March 13th, 2020 at 11:59 PM PDT. (For a walkthrough of our store's purchase process, please see the video here.)
