Chargeback scam issues: changing our order fulfillment flow

Just so that people know:

Over the last couple of days we've had a flurry of bot-running chargeback scammers come through the site. These, as they repeatedly attempt to run hundreds of fraudulent credit card charges in a few minutes, have cost us a not-huge-but-still-annoying amount of money in chargeback fees that we can ill afford.

As a result, for the time being we've had to change the way the site accepts payments and sends out fulfilled orders. Please note that temporarily, all orders are going to have to be fulfilled manually (i.e., via store email from DD) until we've found out how to prevent ourselves from being charged for fraudulent orders that can't be canceled before we're charged.

Meanwhile, we'd like to ask potential buyers, if at all possible, to use PayPal for purchases instead of credit cards, until we can get this situation (ahem) locked down.

Thanks, friends.
